ITINERARY SPIRITUAL TRIP – 2018

23 October – Arrive at Delhi Airport mid morning  – pick up and relax in hotel
24 October – Visit Delhi highlights and bazaars – the Lakhxmi Narayan Temple Complex, India Gate, the Lotus Temple and more –  option of shopping and ayurvedic treatments
25  October -After breakfast, drive to  Rishikesh, considered the Yoga Capital of India. Local sightseeing. In the evening attending Haridwar‘s aarti or prayers on the Gange
26 – 27 October – Further sightseeing in Rishikesh and Haridwar
28 October – Morning at leisure, early afternoon we are driving back to Delhi
29 October – After breakfast, drive to Agra – local sightseeing and visit of Marble Inlay work places
30 October – At dawn we are visiting the Taj Mahal  , return to hotel for breakfast. After breakfast, drive to to Jaipur –    check in hotel
31 October– Sightseeing of Jaipur  – Amber Fort, Wind Palace, Monkey Temple, Tiger Fort etc
1 November– Further sightseeing in Jaipur – Optional  ayurvedic treatments, shopping in the bazaar, consultation with a Vedic Astrologer, etc
2 November–  Afternoon drive towards Delhi – check in our resort close to Delhi Airport
3 November–  Day at leisure, relax and final time together 
4 November– early morning, drive to Delhi Airport to catch the return flight  [based on Emirates / Etihad / Qatar / Virgin]

21 October – Arrive at Delhi Airport (mid morning)  – pick up and relax in hotel

23 October – Early morning we are boarding our train to Amrtisar – check in hotel – at evening time, attend the change of guards at the Pakistan-India border
24 October – Visit the Golden Temple – rest of the day at leisure
25 October – Morning at leisure – in the evening we are  boarding our overnight train to Rhishikesh
26 October – Arrive in Rishikesh, considered the Yoga Capital of India. Local sightseeing. In the evening attending Haridwar‘s aarti or prayers on the Gange
27 – 28 October – Further sightseeing in Rishikesh and Haridwar
29 October –Morning at leisure, afternoon we are boarding our express train back to Delhi – check in hotel
30 October– After breakfast, drive to Agra – local sightseeing and visit of Marble Inlay work places

The Golden Temple in Amritsar

Home to the world famous Golden Temple, the 400-year-old city of Amritsar is the most important seat of Sikh history and culture.

Literally a Pool of Nectar, Amritsar derives its name from Amrit Sarovar, the holy tank that surrounds the splendid Golden Temple. Guru Ramdas, the fourth Guru of the Sikh faith, founded Amritsar in 1579. He constructed a pool on land gifted by the Mughal Emperor Akbar and called it Amritsar.

The Golden Temple is considered the holiest place of worship for people of the Sikh religion.  There are four doors to get into the Harmandir Sahib (this is the name of Golden Temple), which symbolize the openness of the Sikhs towards all people and religions.  Its construction was mainly intended to build a place of worship for men and women from all walks of life and all religions to come and worship God equally. Over 100,000 people visit the holy shrine daily for worship.
